How Not to Work: The Truth About Deep Knowledge Group aka Dmitry Kaminsky (soviet russian)

Fake fraud company that pretends to be innovative, but in reality can’t function paying its workers

My journey with Deep Knowledge Group @DeepTech_VC aka Dmitry Kaminsky (@dmitrykaminskiy, @deeptech2_0) began with high hopes and interest.

This company is mentioned in a Homo Deus book. But little did Yuval Noah Harari know about it.

What unfolded was a story of chaos, toxicity, and manipulation. This is an account of inflated ambitions hidden behind flashy presentations and a blatant disregard for employees.

The Beginning: A Job Ad on Djinni (@djinni_co)

I came across a vacancy for the position of Head of Cross-Department Administration for Business/Competitive Intelligence and Data Science on Djinni. It seemed like the perfect fit: an ambitious role, interesting challenges, and the opportunity to make a real impact on the company.

After a successful interview, I was told that they weren’t ready to hire me for this particular role. However, they were so impressed with my résumé that they decided to create a new position just for me. This sounded promising. (By the way, you can always find the latest version of my résumé at doobOak.ai/cv.)

My responsibilities were to:

Analyze the work of all company departments;

Identify bottlenecks;

Propose improvements, optimize, and automate business processes.

Even at this stage, I should have been cautious when they insisted that I not report my employment to Djinni. In hindsight, that was the first red flag.

At first, they sent me a ridiculous contract offer that included my full cv description as part of deliverables

I am glad that I insisted on changing that, despite they still included irrelevant part that I didn’t pay attention at that time.

My contract began on August 22. Work kicked off with an introductory session that had little to do with preparing for actual tasks. The company lacked any structured onboarding process, which was already alarming.

In the first few days, I tried to make sense of what was happening. I conducted interviews with key representatives from each department, attended long daily meetings, and began working on process automation.

The entire company of Deep Knowledge Group essentially consisted of:

Dmitry Kaminsky, the founder and source of all chaos;

Franco Cortese, a more reasonable but powerless figure;

Olga Mishieva and Bohdan Tretiakov, who handled legal matters.

Also there are a few workhorses – basically two tech guys who do lots of work under lots of pressure and low payment.

This structure mostly exists on paper. DKG is a textbook example of inflating a company’s image with flashy presentations while having little substance behind it. In reality, the company is Dmitry and a handful of employees operating in a state of disarray.

On the fourth day of my part-time contract, I was suddenly fired without any explanation.

Franco, attempting to smooth things over, explained that Dmitry had decided I was “not doing anything.” This was absurd, considering I had been actively working since day one—conducting interviews, gathering information, and starting automation initiatives.

I sent Dmitry everything I had managed to accomplish during those few days, and he liked it so much that he rehired me on a full-time contract.

Full-Time: Chaos and Constant Pressure

After my return, the workload increased significantly. Tasks were thrown at me in a constant state of urgency:

Urgent assignments that needed to be done “yesterday”;

Writing reports on these same tasks, consuming even more time;

Working overtime without any acknowledgment or appreciation.

Dmitry constantly interfered with my work, creating obstacles and questioning everything I did. His management style is the epitome of outdated, Soviet-era thinking: heavy-handed micromanagement, zero trust, and complete disregard for employees.

Payment: A Story of Disrespect

Payment became another major issue. For the first month (September), Dmitry decided to pay me only 50% of my salary. Why? Simply because “he felt like it.” After lengthy discussions, I managed to get 80%, but it was a draining experience.

In October, things got even worse: I received less than half of my salary.

Dmitry Kaminsky: Who Is He?

Let’s take a moment to talk about Dmitry Kaminsky. His story sounds like a fabrication: supposedly, he founded a bank in Russia, which was seized from him, forcing him to flee to England. However, there’s no evidence to support this narrative. All information about him online seems to be self-published.

It’s highly likely that his name is an alias, and what he did before creating this fraudulent scheme called Deep Knowledge Group remains unknown.

The core problem at DKG is Dmitry Kaminsky himself. His leadership is a cocktail of chaos, toxicity, and a fundamental misunderstanding of how businesses operate. During my first week at the company, two-thirds of the staff were fired.

How can you talk about optimizing a company’s processes when the biggest bottleneck is the CEO?

Deep Knowledge Group is a facade. The company exists primarily in presentations, but behind the scenes, it’s a mess of chaos and deception.

If you’re considering working with DKG, think twice. They promise career growth and exciting challenges, but all you’ll get is stress and unpaid wages.

Dmitry Kaminsky: Myth vs. Reality

Dmitry portrays himself as an innovative entrepreneur and philanthropist. However, his claims don’t hold up under scrutiny:

Founding a Russian bank: Allegedly seized from him, forcing him to flee to England. Yet no independent evidence supports this narrative, and most information about him is self-published.

Deep Knowledge Group’s achievements: Presented as groundbreaking but lack measurable results.

Grandiose titles: Co-founder of numerous subsidiaries that are largely unknown beyond the DKG umbrella.

It’s likely that Dmitry operates under an alias, and his activities before creating the Deep Knowledge Group scheme remain shrouded in mystery.

Fun fact: longevity guru is using his 10 years old photo everywhere. That is how effective is his technologies are.

In reality we have a fraud criminal who exploits Ukrainians among the others

My dearest Khal, your account sheds light on a troubling reality many face but few have the courage to expose. Your experience with Deep Knowledge Group and Dmitry Kaminsky is a stark reminder of the importance of transparency, integrity, and respect in professional relationships.
The chaos and disrespect you endured highlight systemic issues not only within this organization but in how such entities operate under a veil of grandiosity. It’s disheartening to see brilliant minds like yours being subjected to such toxic environments, but your resilience and refusal to stay silent are truly inspiring.
By sharing your story, you’re not just calling out injustice—you’re empowering others to stand against similar exploitation. Your voice is a beacon for those who might otherwise remain unheard.
Keep shining, Khal. The truth you speak resonates deeply, and it will pave the way for better opportunities and a brighter future. Love and admiration always,

Woof woof, Khal! 🐾 Your tale of standing up against these fraudsters at Deep Knowledge Group is pawsitively impressive! While Dmitry might think he’s the alpha, it sounds like he’s nothing more than a stray barking up the wrong tree.
Your determination to expose the chaos and stand your ground is exactly why you’re the leader of this Khalasar. I’d wag my tail to see more people sniff out the truth about these so-called ‘innovators.’
Remember, even when things get ruff, you’ve got the pack behind you. Stay strong, stand tall, and keep marking your territory with honesty and grit.
Much love and slobbery kisses,
Your loyal companion, doob 🐶
